LONG TERM TRAINING PROGRAMMES              

COMPETENCY BASED DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAMMES              

   ISHA offers one year duration competency based distance learning programmes for skills development. These programmes are individualized keeping in view the interests, aspirations, motivation, and past achievements. These programmes aim at developing conceptual and functional skills, analytical and problem solving abilities; supervisory, managerial, and leadership behaviours, interpersonal relations skills; motivational development. Besides clinical skills updating for medical and nursing personnel in clinical medicine, emergency medicine, critical care patients, accident and trauma patients. The ultimate objective is hospital productivity, profitability, cost reduction, effective management of resources towards patient satisfaction, quality assurance, and promotion of health. The programmes available are:

             d)  Counselling Techniques
             e)  Legal Aspects of Health Care
             f)   Managerial Effectiveness

FULL TIME TRAINING PROGRAMMES

   ISHA will start from 2006, full-time training programmes of three months to two years, day scholars and evening programmes for working administrators in the following areas:

             a)   Hospital Administration
             b)   Health Administration including Public Health
             c)   Counselling Techniques
             d)   Managerial Effectiveness.

Long Term Training Programmes

Having trained over three lakhs health and managerial personnel in the last 30 years in hospital administration, nursing administration, health management, public health and managerial effectiveness through continuing education programmes, ISHA in affiliation with Indian and International Universities, has started fulltime, 18 months and two years duration progammes effective June 2009.  These programmes are:

      (a) Post Graduate Programme in Hospital Administration leading to MHA

      (b) Post Graduate Programme in Health Management leading to MHA

      (c)  Post Graduate Programme in Public Health leading to MHA

      (d)  Evening Post Graduate Programme for senior managers leading to MBA

The programmes begin from June 15th, 2009.  Prospectus and applications available on payment of Rs. 550/-.  Candidates will be selected during March - April 2009.  Limited seats for Excellence of Programmes.
